====== Mezzmo for Chromecast User Guide ====== Mezzmo can stream your videos, music, photos and subtitles to Google Chromecast dongles. Mezzmo auto-transcodes all your non-compatible video files, music files and photos into compatible formats so they play immediately on your Google Chromecast. Your Google Chromecast dongle will be auto-detected on your home network and listed in Mezzmo's **Media Devices dialog** just like any other device. You can have multiple Chromecast dongles connected in your home. Mezzmo will detect each of them and let you stream to each to them. ===== How it works ===== To stream video, music or photos from Mezzmo server to your Google Chromecast, you must "push" your video files, music files and photos to your Chromecast using a Digital Media Controller (DMC) app. We recommend using our [[mezzmo_android_user_guide|Mezzmo Android app]] for this purpose.
