File Naming Settings

When ripping audio CDs, you can choose the way that file names are specified. This dialog lets you configure the file naming scheme.

Keywords

The keywords list contains the various keywords that can be used when naming files. Keywords that have a check next to them are used in the file name scheme. The order of the keywords can be adjusted using the Move Up and Move Down buttons. A sample of the file naming scheme can been seen in the Preview.

Move Up

By clicking this button, the selected keyword will be moved up in the keyword list. The file name scheme will be adjusted accordingly and the Preview will display a sample file name.

Move Down

By clicking this button, the selected keyword will be moved down in the keyword list. The file name scheme will be adjusted accordingly and the Preview will display a sample file name.

Separator

By selecting a separator from the Separator combo box, the file naming scheme will use that separator in between keywords. The file name scheme will be adjusted accordingly and the Preview will display a sample file name.

Preview

A sample file name will always be shown in the Preview using the current file naming scheme.
