Linked Playlist Properties

A linked playlist is a dynamic link to a external playlist file that you have created in other media player software - such as Windows Media Player or WinAmp. Mezzmo can read all popular types of playlist files - including .M3U, .PLS, .WPL and .ZPL playlist files.

Linked playlist files are useful if you like using media player software such Windows Media Player or WinAmp alongside Mezzmo. You may have playlists that you maintain in these software programs. Rather than having to re-import the playlists from WinAmp or Windows Media Player into Mezzmo every time you make a change to the playlist, a linked playlist can be used and will be dynamically read by Mezzmo so that all changes will be kept up-to-date in Mezzmo.
