Enter your PIN code that matches the PIN code entered in Mezzmo Windows Options dialog (Content Rating page). Entering the matching PIN code lets you bypass any content rating restrictions that you may have running on your Mezzmo server.

Photo slideshow duration

Enter the number of seconds to display a photo when running a photo slideshow on your Android device.

Use Internal Video Player

Select this setting to use Mezzmo's built-in video player when playing videos on your Android device. When not selected, you will be prompted to choose a video player app you have installed on your Android device (for example, MX Player).

Tip: We recommend using Mezzmo Android's built-in video player since it provides:

  • better video format support
  • external subtitles support
  • resume support
  • previous file and next file support
  • audio channel selection
  • subtitle selection

Use hardware acceleration

Select this setting to use your device's hardware acceleration features when playing videos using Mezzmo's built-in video player. Using hardware acceleration can provide better playback performance (for example, less stuttering on high bitrate video files). However, if you notice audio sync issues or other playback issues, try turning hardware acceleration off.

Use audio passthrough

Select this setting to turn on audio passthrough. When turned on, the audio channels from your videos will not be converted for playback in Mezzmo's video player. This is useful if you wish to deliver the original audio channels to your home theater's audio receiver for 7.1 or 5.1 sound.

Resume Action

Choose the way that you want to resume playing videos when you have stopped playing midway.

  • Resume at last position. Automatically resume from where you stopped the video.
  • Start from beginning. Always start from the beginning of the video.
  • Prompt. Always prompt you to choose whether to start from the beginning or resume from the last position.
