Click this button to change what metadata to retrieve when adding or maintaining your media files in your Mezzmo library.
Metadata retrieval when ripping audio CDs
Retrieve album and artist information from CDDB music sites
Mezzmo can get album information when you rip Audio CDs. CDDB (Compact Disc Database) are databases on the internet that allow software applications such as Mezzmo to get Audio CD information such as artist name, CD title and track list.
Selecting this checkbox instructs Mezzmo to get information about Audio CDs when you rip CDs. Mezzmo lists several CDDB music sites to choose from, or you can enter details for another CDDB site. You will need to get specific information about the CDDB music site such as CDDB music server name, web address and port number. If you have a proxy server, then you will need to fill this information in.
