Mezzmo Android - Video Player

Mezzmo Android's built-in video player is displayed when you play a video in Mezzmo Android on your Android device.

Mezzmo Android's built-in video player has an extensive feature set:

  • Excellent file format support.
  • Full playback controls.
  • Resume support.
  • Audio channel selection to listen to your audio language.
  • Subtitle selection to see your preferred language.
  • Hardware/software video decoding for stutter-free playing.
  • Aspect ratio adjustment to fit the video as you prefer.
  • Rotate videos to fit your viewing and device orientation.

Actions

Touch or click the Rotate icon to rotate your video.

Touch or click the Seek slider to move to a different part of the video.

Touch or click the Subtitles icon to select from available subtitles to display.

Touch or click the Audio Channels icon to select from available audio channels to listen to.

Touch or click the Previous File icon to play the previous file.

Touch or click the Play icon to play the video.

Touch or click the Pause icon to pause playing the video:

Touch or click the Stop icon to stop playing the video.

Touch or click the Next File icon to play the next file.

Touch or click the Aspect Ratio icon to change the aspect ratio of the video.

  • Fit parent (default). Fits the video to the window size maintaining the aspect ratio. Black bars (letterboxing) may be shown.
  • Fill parent. Fits the video to the window size. May clip edges to fill the window.
  • Wrap Content. Original size of video. Black bars (letterboxing) may be shown
  • Match Parent. Stretches the video to the window size without clipping the video.

Touch or click the HW / SW icon to switch between hardware or software-based decoding of the video. Generally, hardware (HW) is recommended as it will be faster and require less CPU on your Android device. You should try switching to software (SW) when hardware decoding is not display the video correctly.
